Sheffield Climate Alliance is an alliance of local organisations and individuals who are pressing for effective action to tackle climate change. Our current campaign is to prevent Fracking taking place in the Sheffield region: We are also working with Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Hallam University to run a conference on local sustainable food, in September 2012. The first action by Sheffield Climate Alliance was a petition to ask Sheffield Council to support 10,000 climate jobs for Sheffield.
