Showing the Love in the Moor Market

On a bright and sunny February morning, Kate Stott, Sean Ashton, Janet Milton, Lauren Jones and Dave Dickinson from Sheffield Climate Alliance and Bob Russon from the Sheffield RSPB local group had a stall in the Sheffield Moor Market to support the Show the Love campaign. This is a national campaign that takes place annually around Valentines day and is a chance to talk to people and ask them to #ShowTheLove for all the things they want to protect from climate change.

We had a fun morning and some interesting conversations with almost everyone we spoke to sharing our concerns and agreeing that governments need to act now to prevent climate change destroying the things we love. The pictures below show some of the concerns voiced.

Many thanks go to all the people who helped to make the morning a success and to the people who shared the things they love and want to protect.
