Sheffield Climate Alliance 2018 AGM

After another packed year, the Annual General meeting for Sheffield Climate Alliance is almost here. The doors open at Quaker Meeting House from 6.45pm and refreshments will be served for 25 minutes. Then in the main hall from 7.15pm, the formal business of Sheffield Campaign Against Climate Change (the organisation that hosts SCA) will take place including End of Year reports and the Election of Officers.

Straight after the formal business is finished, we’ll be presenting ‘Air Pollution; where are we now?’ Jenny Bates, air pollution campaigner for Friends of The Earth and Graham Jones from Burngreave Clean Air Group will be speaking on the issues nationally and locally while considering what role transport aids and hinders progress to achieve cleaner air. The discussion will be chaired by Jenny Patient and will leave time for questions and thoughts from the floor.

As usual, the SCA stall will be present and committee members will be on hand to answer any questions people have. Everyone is welcome, so hope to see you there!
